My boyfriend is an expert on whiskey, and he said it kinda-sorta smells like whiskey, but not really. I've sniffed his glasses of whiskey enough times to say that this scent does have a whiskey-adjacent scent, but not spot-on... which is a GOOD thing, in my opinion, since whiskey doesn't smell all that great, haha. This fragrance does smell really good, though - I would say like a sweet whiskey, rather than the usual bitter biting scent of the real drink. And I haven't had any customer feedback complaints that "it doesn't actually smell like whiskey", so... that's a good thing!

I couldn’t decide on this or the smooth bourbon so got both.Blended whiskey is by far my favorite of the two.Suggestive of whiskey without the alcohol.Very nice!

I"m not sure it smells like whiskey so much as suggests whiskey, but it certainly does that. There's a touch of gourmand like fruit or chocolate, with a backing of effervescence that gives it a kick and definitely holds the mood of whiskey if not the actual bite and sting. Pretty good!
